A separate connection
Threads has its own tile in the brand's Connections. It uses the same Meta login as Facebook and Instagram, but connecting Facebook does not connect Threads and disconnecting one does not touch the other.
Connecting
- Press Connect on the Threads tile and sign in at Meta with the account that owns the Threads profile.
- Approve the request. The profile appears on the tile.
What the connection does
Publishes text and image posts to the profile and reads results for analytics. Threads tokens expire like other Meta tokens; the daily connection check flags one that has stopped working and the tile shows Reconnect.
